Andrew undertook his first music directing role in May 2025 as a senior in high school, conducting, performing with, and directing an 8 piece band for Hadestown: Teen Edition. He attended many vocal rehearsals for the show and sight read open and choral score. Before Hadestown, he often assisted the vocal director in warming up the choir/ensemble, leading sectionals, and playing orchestral reductions. Music directors that Andrew has worked with include Jason Smith, Lindsay CieChanski, John Boonenberg, Brian Rose, Vanessa El-Zein, Elizabeth Mitchell, William Griffel, and Abbie-Jo Wilcox. He has worked with theatre directors Brodie Brockie, Anne-Marie Roberts, and Tricia Wise. Andrew currently studies piano and music direction with Joseph Bandi, Purdue Musical Organizations.
